How the projections work
Each player's share of team targets and carries over his last three games (weighted 50/30/20) is multiplied by his team's average volume and his points per touch, pulled toward the position average so a few big plays don't dominate. That's blended with his season average, then adjusted up or down by up to 20% for the opposing defense. Matchup ranks: 1 is the defense that allows the most points to the position, so lower is better. In testing on weeks 3 and 4, projections were off by about 6 points per player on average, which is typical for single-week fantasy projections.
