What matters for IDP
- Snap share
- Defenders only score when they're on the field. Every-down players (90%+) are the safest; rotational linemen are boom-or-bust.
- Tackles
- The steadiest points. Off-ball linebackers and box safeties pile them up every week.
- Big plays
- Sacks, interceptions and forced fumbles score big but swing a lot from week to week. Don't chase one big game.
- Opposing offense
- Offenses that run a lot of plays, or that get sacked often, create more chances for the defenders facing them.
