Add the players each side gives up and see who comes out ahead, using our rest-of-season projections. Values are points above a replacement-level player, so piling up bench players doesn't win a trade.

How trades are valued
- Value
- Each player's rest-of-season projection (Categories (G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, HIT) by default) minus what a replacement-level player at the same spot would give you. A player you'd never start is worth about zero.
- Verdict
- Within 10% is a fair trade. Beyond that, the side getting more value wins it. Team needs matter too: a trade that loses a little value can still be right if it fills a hole in your lineup.
